I'm a 23-year-old programming enthusiast who got into programming to bring my ideas to life. I've always had fleeting but game-changing impactful ideas for helpful applications, web pages, and new features for existing software applications, but I never had a way to implement them until I decided to take the bull by the horns and enter this world.
My first step was to enroll in a bootcamp, so I chose SoyHenry's remote bootcamp in Argentina, where I learned a lot about computer science, variables, and some fundamentals of programming using JavaScript. I then learned about front-end frameworks like React, as well as HTML, CSS, Sass, Ajax calls, back-end servers, running environments like Node.js, databases, and the fundamentals of SQL. This gave me the foundation I needed to learn practically anything else on my own.
From there I took some computer science courses and then started learning on my own as an autodidact. I devoured article by article and watched endless YouTube videos about algorithms, web frameworks and programming languages. My hunger for knowledge drove me to learn a wide range of computer science topics, including new programming languages (Python, Golang), video game development, MMO server infrastructure, client-server communication in video games, web security, web infrastructure, DevOps, databases, performance optimization, and web vitals monitoring.
